why do I even botherGreat idea to kickstart the section Des. I'd have a tough time picking a ngle fave but it'd probably be a toss-up between Bride of Frankenstein and the Wolf Man

I don't know if I've seen it as a movie. I've seen it as a play...it's one of my favorites. That and Cats were pretty big in NYC on broadway for a long time. Never got to see Cats though

You gotta get more clasc then that, Luckmann!

We are talking black and white status.

I like Nosferatu and Dracula.

Just to give you a benchmark Glauco, the Clasc era is generally regarded as pre-1970.
lblambert Monday 11/10/2008 at 11:42 PM | 23051
Oic... Thanks Lee. But when you talk "clasc", there's no a sub-genre (like slashers, ghosts, paranormal, splatters...), into the clascs? Nosferatu, that was a film based on Bram Stoker's Dracula, is a clasc, right, as The Creature From Black Lagoon?

I'm a dumb...
LÜCKMANN Wednesday 11/12/2008 at 02:51 PM | 23357
for its time the make up was phenomenal for its time? it still is!

for me its creature from the black lagoon, 1954 godzilla (japanese veron) bride of

frankenstein (greatest sequel of all time, i dare you to find one better) as

cheesy as it

was the house of frankenstein, hammer's evil of frankenstein, mark of the vampire, the devil bat, murders in the rue morgue, the last man on earth i could go on and on
Johnny Bisco Thursday 11/13/2008 at 02:45 PM | 23482
I agree with you on Bride of Frankenstein... that movie is a clasc.

Frankenstein, Dracula, Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Wolfman... All clascs as well.

I also have a soft spot for Nosferatu, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and The Phantom of the Opera... Awesome lent films with insane style.

Hmmm I think I have a tie.-I'm going to go with "Bride of Frankenstein" also because that movie speaks on many different levels.

-"Psycho" because in some ways it was the Star Wars of Horror.

I have seen only a few clascs, but The Wolf Man is my favorite, untill now.

If anyone could, watch A Meia Noite Levarei Sua Alma, the best clasc brazilian film ever did!
