Last week, it was revealed that Joseph Konski (Oblivion, Tron Legacy) was in talks to become the new director of The Twilight Zone movie for Warner Bros. and we now know who has been brought in to work on the screenplay.
This is a project that has been in development for some time at Warner Bros., with Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company, Appian Way, involved as well. At one point, Cloverfield and Let Me In‘s Matt Reeves was set to direct and Anthony Peckham, Rand Ravich and Joby Harold have all worked on the screenplay for the movie in the past.
According to Variety, Aron Eli Coleite will be working on a new script, as it was said that this project is being “redeveloped” for Konski. Coleite is a TV writer, known for his work on Crosng Jordan, Heroes, and The River. Previously, we’ve were told that the movie would be a ngle story instead of an anthology. While it was not going to be a remake of any specific episode, it was said that the movie would touch on several themes from the original TV series.
