"Army of Darkness II" Is Currently Being Written By Sam Raimi!

Now that the "Evil Dead" remake is finished up, all eyes are now on Sam Raimi, Fede Alvarez and Bruce Campbell, as we wonder in anticipation to see what they are going to do next. Could it be a sequel to the remake or perhaps a sequel to the original "Evil Dead" franchise or just something completely different?

Nothing is concrete at this point in time, but Fede Alvarez had some very interesting things to say in regards to the next "Evil Dead" film. From what Fede Alvarez says, Sam Raimi is set on the "Army of Darkness II" idea versus moving forward with a sequel to the remake.

Alvarez had this to say:

"The pressure is on them now. Because as far as I know, and heard, Sam is really determined to get Army Of Darkness 2 happening. He is actually writing it now."

Please take not that just because Raimi is writing the "Army of Darkness II", it does not mean that it will be the next installment or even take place at all. However, it is very intriguing as to where Raimi decides to take the story in the next Army of Darkness.
