It does not seem like it can get here fast enough. After a very successful first season, BATES MOTEL will be returning to A&E soon. Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga will be showing back up in the roles of Norman and Norma Bates along with new faces Kathleen Robertson, Paloma Kwiatkowski and Michael Vartan.
The shooting range is in early sometime 2014. As soon as an exact date for the show has been cemented we will let you all know. TV Guide unearthed the notion that the second season will take us to an iconic PSYCHO area.
Season 2 of the show will introduce us with the fruit cellar. There place where Mother's body is discovered at the end of the original PSYCHO film. Freddie Highmore, aka Norman Bates, had this to say:
"There are many creepy things down there."
Even Vera Farmiga, who portrays Norman's mother added this about the fruit cellar:
"It makes Norma utterly uncomfortable, as most mothers would be."
The season premiere will show us Norman working on a new project which is bigger than the dog that he stuffed in last season. Executive producer Carlton Cuse had this to say:
"It's not human. Not yet. We're taking baby steps."
With the show being such a hit, this should be very exciting to see unfold.
