AMERICAN HORROR STORY is a hot topic. The show's popularity grows with each season and anyone who has seen the show knows just why. Back in January we explored a bit into the rumors about an AHS Circus/Carnival rumor idea for next season that was going around. Now, just over two months later, the official confirmation comes in.
Staff writer Douglas Petrie confirmed the rumors while doing a recent Nerdist Writers Panel podcast. He was asked about the next season having a Carnival theme and he replied, "Very roughly, that's the idea."
Here is what Ryan Murphy previously stated about the upcoming AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 4:
“It’s set in 1950… If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. It’s a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we’ve done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I’m very excited!”
The fourth season will be Jessica Lange’s final involvement with the show.
AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 4 will be made up of thirteen episodes. The premiere is likely to be in October.
