Big News For SEE NO EVIL 2 - Soskas On Changes Being Made To Jacob Goodnight - More!

Many Horror fans around the world are looking forward to see just what will be happening with Jacob Goodnight in the upcoming SEE NO EVIL 2. WWE's Kane will be returning to play the role of the madman killer (Jacob Goodnight) and this time around some big changes are being made.



To begin with the WWE Studios film will see the talented duo of Sylvia and Jen Soska directing the action. SEE NO EVIL 2 will be the sisters' follow up to their Horror hit AMERICAN MARY. The Soskas recently spoke with RenegadeCinema revealing that they felt that the first SEE NO EVIL film fell short of creating a character that was close to Horror legends such as Freddy Kreuger and Michael Myers so in the new movie, Kane's Jacob Goodnight character has a new look, his own theme music and a selection of new weapons. The Soska Twins are hoping everyone will be surprised by their vision.

They also have hopes of changing how women in Horror are perceived with SEE NO EVIL 2. They tried to create clever characters that would give Jacob Goodnight a run for his money with actresses Katharine Isabelle and Danielle Harris.

The Soskas also made mention that while AMERICAN MARY was low budget and involved producers declining many of their requests, the WWE Studios producers gave them a lot of room to work with with on this project. They say the movie might just bring the Horror genre back to its heights that it soared 30 years ago.

"Reclusive madman Jacob Goodnight rises from the dead in the city morgue after his killing spree at the Blackwell hotel and goes after a group of medical students who fight to survive."

It should be noted that UpcomingHorrorMovies.com has updated their page for SEE NO EVIL 2 and the MPAA rating has been announced as R for "Horror violence, some gore, and sexual content."

There currently is no official release date for SEE NO EVIL 2 but it is expected in October.
