Huge News About The New FRIDAY THE 13TH Film!!

FRIDAY THE 13TH seems to be more popular than ever. Jason Voorhees has become a pop icon within today's society. Even fans that aren't into Horror are familiar with the machete wielding killer. With a brand new FRIDAY THE 13TH film set for 2015, any news is appreciated by the true fan of Horror. We have some big news for you today.

Paramount Pictures has made it known that the next FRIDAY THE 13TH film will be in 3D! That's right the world will be seeing Jason Voorhees jumping off of the screen once again. This was done back in 1982 with FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3 when the 3D technology was not as advanced as it is today. So it will be interesting to see how it plays out. The 3D addition could put the found footage rumors to rest that have been bouncing around but only time will tell.

As of right now, David Bruckner, (THE SIGNAL, V/H/S) is in talks to take a seat in the director's chair. If Bruckner does end up taking the wheel, he will have the chance to lead the franchise to new places especially with the 3D aspect added into the mix.
