Things are really beginning to heat up for this season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW. The latest episode wrapped up the two part Halloween special, and saw the emergence of a new killer clown. We have learned that a major character from Season 2 will be returning to tie up the loose ends, as well as two additional actors eventually joining in on the fun.
Lily Rabe will reprise her role as Sister Mary Eunice from AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM. Rabe will begin shooting her guest role in New Orleans this weekend and she’ll appear in the season’s tenth episode aka the winter cliffhanger. The reason for Sister Mary’s return involves the pinhead Pepper, and will reveal just how she ends up at Briarcliff Asylum. Rabe also previously appeared in AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 1 as well as Season 3.
Also joining the show’s fourth season is Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka. The couple won’t appear on the show until near the end of the season. Harris will appear in the 11th and 12th episodes as a chameleon salesman, while Burtka will make his presence known in the season finale (Episode 13) in a "sexy storyline with Jessica Lange’s batty chanteuse.”
AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW airs Wednesdays on FX.
