Upcoming BATES MOTEL Season 3 Adds A Familiar Face!

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

BATES MOTEL really picked up some steam with it's second season, offering a nailbiting atmosphere which is always a lot of fun. We learned back in April that the series was renewed by A&E for a third season. As production gets underway, a new name has joined the cast.

Joshua Leonard is now part of the cast for BATES MOTEL. You may recognize him from THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, and this year's THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN. Leonard will take on the recurring role of James Finnigan, a community college psych professor whose pull towards Norma slowly chips away at his carefully constructed house of cards.

Other new cast members for the third season include Kevin Rahm, Tracy Spiridakos and Ryan Hurst.

BATES MOTEL is a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film Psycho, and gives viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates’ psyche unravels through his teenage years. Series stars Vera Farmiga in her Emmy-nominated role as Norma Bates and Freddie Highmore as Norman.

BATES MOTEL is produced by Universal Television for A&E Network. Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin serve as executive producers for Carlton Cuse Productions and Kerry Ehrin Productions respectively.

Look for BATES MOTEL Season 3 in 2015.
