First look of Johnny Depp as the MADHATTER

The image above has been floating around the internet today. Could this be a first look at Johnny Depp as The Madd Hatter in Tim Burton’s 3D adaptation of Alice in Wonderland? I'm not sure. It looks pretty fake to me. A few guys saw some concept art from the film at the Disney showcase in September, and they didn't remember the Hatter looking anything like this.

Hmmm I am not sure if that is legit either... If that were to be what Johnny Depp was to look like as the Mad Hatter I would kind of be disappointed. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it's not.

I wanna say that is fake too.

I am sure TB will make the MH look a lot creepier then that.

I think it's a fake... or at best a test shot.

Tim seems like he would come up with a Hatter that is a bit scarier than that.

But could be true. Remember that in some of movies of Tim Burton, as Sleepy Hollow (1999), he made the history a little bit dark, maybe to call the adult public to the theaters, 'cos the movie is based on children books. Same thing with Alice in Wonderland... The pic could be true, and Johnny Depp likes to make his characters more dark then they really are. He just didn't it on Sweeney Todd: the demon..., that was a piece of shit!
