A new type of Horror is on it's way. From director Levan Gabriadze comes Universal Picture's UNFRIENDED, formerly known as CYBERNATURAL. The film unfolds over a teenager’s computer screen as she and her friends are stalked by an unseen figure who seeks vengeance for a shaming video that led a vicious bully to kill herself a year earlier. The first TV spot has arrived and we have it waiting for you down below along with the trailer.
The script was written by Nelson Greaves, with Timur Bekmambetov, Greaves and Jason Blum producing.
UNFRIENDED stars Shelley Hennig, Moses Storm, Renee Olstead, Will Peltz, Jacob Wysocki, Courtney Halverson, and Heather Sossaman.
"While video chatting one night, six high school friends receive a Skype message from a classmate who killed herself exactly one year ago. At first they think it’s a prank, but when the girl starts revealing the friends’ darkest secrets, they realize they are dealing with something from beyond this world, something that wants them dead. Told entirely from a young girl’s computer desktop, UNFRIENDED redefines “found footage” for a new generation of teens."
