The upcoming GHOSTBUSTERS film has taken many shapes and forms along the way. Lots of rumors and wonder have dominated the topic. From the Sony email hack suggesting many stars which were interested in taking part to Dan Aykroyd still claiming that one day we will get an original sequel.
The new GHOSTBUSTERS movie, which will be directed by Paul Feig, has been moving forward full steam ahead since the announcement of a female lead cast back at the beginning of the year.
Feig revealed on Twitter that the next big name to join the cast will be Chris Hemsworth.
Hemsworth, who is known for his work in THOR and THE AVENGERS movies will take on the challenge of being the receptionist for the new female Ghostbusters. This of course is the exact opposite from the previous two films. It will be interesting to see how this new version will play out. Katie Dippold is responsible for writing the script.
Hemsworth joins a cast that is made up of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones.
