Fresh News On AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL!

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

We lived in the Murder House, we were locked up in the Asylum, we went Louisiana to join the witches Coven and we became part of the deadly Freak Show. Now as the Fall begins to get a little bit closer, the expectations of the upcoming season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL continue to rise. Not long ago we learned that Finn Wittrock and Emma Roberts had officially joined in on the fun, and today we bring you more news on the subject at hand.

Actress Helena Mattsson has now joined the cast for this season she revealed on Instagram saying:

"Another day at work. Getting ready to film some scary stuff.. #thatsallicansay #americanhorrorstory"

Details on her role are tight lipped at this point but IMDB has her character listed as being called Agnetha.

Sarah Paulson will play Hypodermic Sally, Evan Peters is Mr. March, Kathy Bates is Iris and Matt Bomer is Donovan. We also know that all of the above characters, plus Angela Bassett's character, will be evil.

During Comic-Con the show's co-creator Ryan Murphy reportedly didn't say much about how HOTEL will tie in to the previous seasons of AHS which he revealed last year were all connected, he did say that former AHS characters will return in the new season.

Here are some of the things that Murphy revealed during the AHS panel courtesy of E! Online TV Scoop:

"We will see more and more and more former AHS characters this season. They'll check into the hotel."

"Characters are connected to different seasons. You'll see more & more of that this season in AHS Hotel."

"Part of Lady Gaga's AHS Hotel role involves fashion so the costume designers are working with her on that."

Murphy also revealed that Paulson, whose characters have previously survived all four seasons of AHS may not survive this year.

The cast is made up of Lady Gaga, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Chloe Sevigny, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Finn Wittrock, Emma Roberts, Max Greenfield, Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare, and Helena Mattsson.

Jessica Lange previously stated that she will not be a part of Season 5. However, in an interview with The Wrap Lange says that she would "absolutely" come back if creator Ryan Murphy offered her "a small character for a couple of episodes." She went on to say that "this was a great collaboration, so I would love to keep working with him."

As of right now Jessica Lange is not a part of the upcoming season of AHS but that all could very well change as Murphy stated at Comic-con that she could come back one day.

Shooting for AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL will air at the end of October, as previous AHS series' have. We will continue to bring you more on this story as it unfolds.
