Update On Ridley Scott's PROMETHEUS 2 Within!

2012 saw the release of PROMETHEUS which became a huge hit at the box office and of course it makes perfect sense to have a sequel. This time around will see Ridley Scott returning to helm the project along with Michael Green and Jack Paglan writing the script.

In an interview with TotalFilm, Scott revealed that shooting on PROMETHEUS 2 will begin in January.

As of now, the plot details are thin, but we know that Noomi Rapace (Elizabeth Shaw) and Michael Fassbender (David) will return to reprise their respective roles.

Ridley Scott has stated many times that PROMETHEUS is not an ALIEN franchise film, but many fans still believe that a connection is coming between the two as the Neil Blomkamp directed ALIEN 5 will be coming right after PROMETHEUS 2.
