News On THE WOLF MAN Reboot Within!

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

It was made known quite some time ago that Universal had decided to take it's Classic monsters and give them reboots. The studio is still in the process of bringing them back to life on screen, with the idea of creating it's own universe to where characters can cross over from different films. The new films are said to have a contemporary feel to them, while still adding elements from the original films.

With the upcoming THE MUMMY reboot set to be happening first, it looks like Universal plans for THE WOLF MAN reboot to be next in line as a release date has now officially been set for March 30, 2018.

The screenplay for THE WOLF MAN reboot is being penned by Aaron Guzikowski, who we just learned is in talks to write the next FRIDAY THE 13TH film.

As of now there are no casting details for THE WOLF MAN to report. With THE MUMMY set to hit theaters in 2017, it appears that Universal's shared universe plan will be to give us a new classic monster film every year. Scripts are currently in the works which center around Van Helsing, The Bride of Frankenstein, as well as The Invisible Man. Only time will tell what all the future has in store.

We will continue to bring you more on THE WOLF MAN as well as all of Universal's Monster reboots as they unfold.
