Flood in Santa Catarina, Brasil

I won't talk about this, but this is going to be the worst catastrophic event at the last 100 years in Santa Catarina, Bral. I live in Santa Catarina, in Rio do Sul city. I've never seen so much destruction caused by the rain. We had tons of people homeless, no water, food or eletric energy. Stimated 84 dead people and more than 200 missed. My parents house have been hit by this damn rain, that it's still falling here. The pics above are from Blumenau, the city where is comemorated the Oktoberfest. The ENTIRE city is under water and mud. Our unit of SENAI in Blumenau was completely destroyed, but nobody get hurt. Sorry to post this guys....

Thanks Des and Mike. My family is fine. My parents lost somethings, like couchs and tables and chairs... They are all fine, I thank GOD for this. But yesterday we have bad news from Blumenau, where is our bigger unit of SENAI: a teacher, friend of mine, died with ALL his family, about 11 people, that lived in 3 houses near each other. This morning I founded some of my friends here crying for the loss. His name was Alexandre Lueders, 32. He had 2 little girls who died too. I'm a little sad now... Sometimes I ask myself: where is God in this moments? Why he could let bad things happen to good people?

The life must goes on...

Thanks guys. We back right now from the funeral and burial. One of the worst episodes I ever seen... Imagine 11 people from the same family been buried at the same time, including two little girls in white coffins... Oh dear Lord... May God have their souls in a better place, and keep us safe.
