Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.
The wonder and hype continues to grow over Rob Zombie's upcoming Horror flick 31. The movie was recently able to get the R rating that Zombie was hoping for and made it's premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival just last month.
We know that Zombie has announced that he plans to make a film titled THE ELECTRIC WARLOCK ACID WITCH SATANIC ORGY CELEBRATION DISPENSER MOVIE, which is also the name of his new album that arrives on April 29th.
Zombie's film THE DEVIL'S REJECTS is arguably his most popular cinematic effort. It ended with the three main characters going down under heavy gun fire, leaving us to believe that there would be no more for movies with them involved. However this may not be the case as Zombie is contemplating yet another movie.
Zombie posted an image of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS along with the following question/statement on Instagram:
"Just curious would anybody be interested in watching another movie starring these three characters? Enough interest and anything can happen."
This isn't the first time that Zombie has expressed interest in making another film with Spaulding, Otis and Baby as back in 2014 he admitted that he had an idea saying:
"I’ve always thought I’d like to make another movie, because I love the characters, and I have an idea I think is solid for a third one – an idea that would make sense. The problem is, I don’t own the characters now. They’re owned by Lionsgate, and they just don’t have any desire to do anything. So it isn’t me not doing it because I don’t want to; I don’t have the ability to get it done."
It would certainly be very interesting to see The Devil's Rejects return for another movie. Drawing fan support could be what it takes to make Lionsgate see that there is more money to be made from these characters.
We will continue to follow this story and bring you more on it as we hear it.
