The upcoming FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME from Gun Media and IllFonic in partnership with Crystal Lake Entertainment is still very much moving forward with great progress. The fact that this game is actually being made has fans of the franchise on the edge of their seats with excitement.
Along the way we have seen several videos showing the different possibilities that await. Today we bring you two new videos. One of them shows how to use vehicles to escape from being killed by Jason Voorhees. The other one is a development update video from the Illfonic team which goes over the game's behind the scenes progress offering a look at the F13: A NEW BLOOD version of Jason. Kane Hodder reprises his role as Jason Voorhees via motion capture. Also on board with the project are FRIDAY THE 13TH Alumni Tom Savini, Harry Manfredini, and Sean S. Cunningham.
FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is an online, asymmetric multiplayer experience where one player will assume the role of Jason Voorhees against seven other players assuming the roles of camp counselors trying to survive the night.
FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is expected to be released in the fall of this year, and will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
