Jessica Lange Speaks On Her AMERICAN HORROR STORY Status!

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

It is no surprise that the fifth season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY subtitled HOTEL was a hit. This time around at the Hotel Cortez we witnessed even darker story lines along with loads of murder and deceit.

One specific person that was absent in Season 5 was Jessica Lange, who was the face of AHS for the first four seasons. Fans have been speculating about the possible return of Lange for quite a while now but it looks as though we shall never see her re-appear on the popular FX Horror series.

Lange spoke to Charlie Rose saying in regards to her possible involvement with AHS:

"No. Ya know, I had four years with that. Four seasons and each year was a marvelous character. But no. Sometimes you come to the end of something.”

There you have it. Jessica Lange has officially driven the final nail into the coffin of hope for a return.

The as-of-yet untitled Season 6 of AMERICAN HORROR STORY is said to merge two ideas for the entire season as creator Ryan Murphy previously stated:

“The interesting thing about the next season is that we’ve been working on two ideas at once, which we’ve never done,”

Murphy did tease that the creative team has always been influenced by the opera. He went on to say that Horror “often deals with the innocence of children, and their wide-eyed way into it. Both (Season 6) ideas we’re working with have elements of children."

Season 6 will air on FX in the fall. We will continue to bring you more on the new season as it unfolds.
