We have seen quite a few different videos along the way showing us some of the features and ideas for FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME. Today we bring you a some new gameplay footage which debuted as part of an E3 showcase. In the new video we see an early alpha version of the game from the perspective of Jason Voorhees, stalking his victims and killing them violently, with his mother Pamela's voice encouraging him that he is doing well. We also see some action being played out as a counselor who makes a desperate attempt to escape.
In addition, we also get to see several different environments such as the cemetery where Jason's mother is buried, the eerie dark and scary woods, as well as the Higgins Haven cabin.
Kane Hodder reprises his role as Jason Voorhees via motion capture. Also on board with the project are FRIDAY THE 13TH Alumni Tom Savini, Harry Manfredini, and Sean S. Cunningham.
FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is an online, asymmetric multiplayer experience where one player will assume the role of Jason Voorhees against seven other players assuming the roles of camp counselors trying to survive the night.
FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is expected to be released in the fall of this year, and will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
