Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.
We all know that George A. Romero's DAY OF THE DEAD was already remade once back in 2008 by Steve Miner, and not long ago we learned that the cult classic will once again be getting the remake treatment. That remake crumbled in comparison to the 2004 DAWN OF THE DEAD remake.
Now in the present day, yet another remake of DAY OF THE DEAD is coming, and this one has been in the works since 2013. Nu Image/Millennium and Campbell Grobman Films are behind this film, which will be directed by Hector Hernandez Vicens.
Here is the description for the new DAY OF THE DEAD remake:
"The post-apocalyptic tale follows a former medical student tormented by a dark figure from her past, who happens to be a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her."
Playing the part of Max, the "half-man, half-zombie" will be Johnathon Schaech, who recently shared an image on Twitter of himself in the makeup chair. You can see pictures of his fellow cast members in the background.
Schaech's co-stars include Sophie Skelton, Marcus Vanco, Jeff Gum, Lorina Kamburova,, Nick Loeb, Rachel O’Meara, Debbie Sherman, Luke Cousins, Nathan Cooper, and Cristina Serafini.
We will continue to bring you more on the new DAY OF THE DEAD remake as it unfolds.
