The Season 6 Finale of AMC's THE WALKING DEAD was a very intense ride and saw the arrival of one of the most vicious characters to date in Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The overwhelming fan disappointment comes from the cliffhanger where Negan brutally bashes an unknown cast member over the head with his barbed wire baseball bat named Lucille. Fans will have to wait until the Fall to officially find out who will took that brutal beating.
With rumors flying in every direction about who the possible victim or victim's could be, some of the answers as to who it may not be have been revealed within the official trailer released just days ago.
In an image taken from the official trailer, it appears to show what looks to be Maggie standing behind Negan.
In another still shot, we see Dwight pointing a gun at someone, who is speculated to be Aaron.
This however could just be another swerve as THE WALKING DEAD has released misleading trailers in the past.
Here is the official Comic-Con trailer in case you missed it.
Not long ago four actors that were promoted from recurring to regular cast members. First up is no surprise, Jeffrey Dean Morgan takes a well deserved regular cast member slot with his character of Negan, Tom Payne, who portrays the character of Jesus, Xander Berkely who plays the leader of the Hilltop Gregory, and Austin Amelio who brings to life the villainous character of Dwight, will all now be series regulars.
These four join regular cast members Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James, Sonequa Martin-Green, Alanna Masterson, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, and Austin Nichols.
