Official Trailer Arrives For GHOST IN THE SHELL Starring Scarlett Johansson!

Based on the groundbreaking manga series and anime films, the upcoming GHOST IN THE SHELL film is now in full effect as director Rupert Sanders prepares for that arrival soon. The official trailer has dropped, which you will find down below. It features Scarlett Johansson as the cyborg Major. In addition, we also have a special featurette that showcases a lot of new footage from the upcoming film.

GHOST IN THE SHELL stars Scarlett Johansson, Rila Fukushima, Michael Pitt, Pilou Asbæk, Juliette Binoche, Beat Takeshi, Kaori Momoi, Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara, and Tuwanda Manyimo. This adaptation was written by Jonathan Herman and Jamie Moss.

Synopsis:

"Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “GHOST IN THE SHELL” follows Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology."





GHOST IN THE SHELL will be coming to theaters March 31, 2017.
