During the fourth season of BATES MOTEL we saw Norman finally crack as his mental state became what we knew was inevitable. With his mother now taking her place, and all things rolling up to speed, we can only brace ourselves for the fifth and final season which will return in early 2017.
With more questions on the table than answers, fans will be curious to find out what is in store for Norman in the final season.
We have learned that the news that the A&E's BATES MOTEL will begin airing it's fifth season on Monday February 20th.
The cast of the final season includes Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga, Max Thieriot, Isabelle McNally, Brooke Smith, and Nestor Carbonell.
Not long ago we learned that the Marion Crane character from the original PSYCHO movie will be appearing in the new season of A&E's BATES MOTEL as Rihanna will take on the role. She was recently spotted on set as the new version of the iconic character.
We also know that Isabelle McNally will be taking on the role of Madeleine Loomis.
Change is coming to White Pine Bay as we learned not long ago that actress Brooke Smith has been cast in the role of Dana Green, who is the new sheriff in town. The character is said to be "competent, professional, moralistic and sharp. She possesses a small-town vibe that belies her highly observant nature".

BATES MOTEL will begin airing it's fifth and final season February 20th on A&E.
