Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.
Back in 2012 the world received the film titled PROMETHEUS which became a box office success, lining things up nicely for a sequel. Director Ridley Scott has been working on the upcoming ALIEN: COVENANT which will be the PROMETHEUS sequel and serve as a prequel to the ALIEN movies.
Just recently the official Red Band trailer for ALIEN: COVENANT hit the scene and it is must see for any fan of the ALIEN franchise.
Today we bring you some new imagery that 20th Century Fox has unveiled from ALIEN: COVENANT. We see Katherine Waterston being given direction from Scott, along with a solo image of her looking ready to take on whatever comes her way. You will find those just below.
The cast that is made up of Katherine Waterston, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Demian Bichir, Danny McBride, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, Benjamin Rigby, Callie Hernandez, Billy Crudup and James Franco.
The film was written by Michael Green, Jack Paglen, and John Logan.
"Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world -- whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition."
Earlier in the year, Michael Fassbender had this to say about ALIEN COVENANT:
“It’s much scarier than Prometheus, but it’s got the same sort of scope of Prometheus.”
“It’s kind of got more of thriller, imminent disaster feel that Alien had, so it’s kind of a beautiful meeting of both of those films. I’m really excited to see it, I think it’s gonna be super scary number one and then again with the massive scope of Prometheus… Once it starts and the ball starts rolling, it doesn’t let up. It’s really gonna bring chills to the cinema.”
ALIEN: COVENANT will arrive in theaters on May 19th.
