Details For Stephen King/J.J. Abrams Series CASTLE ROCK Are Within!

Stephen King has certainly created an amazing universe of characters and stories. One of the recurring locations is Castle Rock. It is a town where many of King's stories happen and is mentioned countless times in others. We learned just recently that the town that comes deep from within King's twisted mind will be transitioning into a new limited series.
The new series will be simply titled CASTLE ROCK and will be produced by J. J. Abrams' Bad Robot production company and will eventually be coming to Hulu.

"A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland.
Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller — a reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories. A teaser for the project, released by Bad Robot on Friday, has garnered more than 1 million views."
CASTLE ROCK is a limited series that will be based on the stories of Stephen King. The project is being written and executive produced by Sam Shaw, with Abrams, Bad Robot, Warner Bros. TV, and will most likely see King producing as well in some form.
King and Abrams have previously worked together on King's limited series 11/22/63 on Hulu. At this point there is no word on any story details for CASTLE ROCK or just how many episodes there may be. There is also no date of release at this time.
