For some fans, the upcoming FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is going to be a dream come true. With Gun Media and IllFonic in partnership with Crystal Lake Entertainment recently announcing a date of release, it will not be much longer until the game becomes available to the public.
Today we bring you a close look at all seven versions of Jason that will be available on the upcoming game, including parts 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, and Tom Savini’s new Hell Jason creation. The images show us a look at each one’s stats, in turn giving a great preview of what we can expect from each version.
FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is a third-person, asymmetrical multiplayer title where one player controls Jason Voorhees while the remaining seven control camp counselors trying to survive the night.That’s right…1v7 multiplayer set in the semi-open world of Camp Crystal Lake! It’s a classic horror fan’s dream, no shaky cam, no found footage. We want you to know we’re revitalizing the golden era of slashers, and putting you at the controls of each horrific, blood-splattered moment.
Kane Hodder reprises his role as Jason Voorhees via motion capture. Also on board with the project are FRIDAY THE 13TH Alumni Tom Savini, Harry Manfredini, and Sean S. Cunningham.
FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME will launch on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 26th, 2017.
