Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.
There are a lot of fans that seem to be patiently waiting for the official U.S. arrival of the remake of Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury’s flick INSIDE. The film made major waves back when it first arrived and still is to this day. The directing duo of Miguel Ángel Vivas and Jaume Balagueró have the task of bringing this one to life. The latter penned the screenplay for the remake along with Manu Diez.
At this time the INSIDE remake is being shown at multiple film festivals, making it’s premiere at Sitges just last year and is preparing for a showing a FrightFest this August. It looks as though the film will see release this summer in Spain. (See Spanish Trailer Below). As of this writing there has been no word on a U.S. release.
Here is the FrightFest synopsis:
“A recently widowed mother-to-be living in an isolated new home receives a most unwelcome visitor: a predatory woman who will stop at nothing to snatch her unborn child. Trapped and disorientated, the young mother must unleash all her reserves of strength to protect her baby and survive the night. With subtle tweaks and added shocks to the original story, expect a totally unexpected seat-edged nerve-jangler.”
The run time for the INSIDE remake is 100 minutes, and stars Rachel Nichols the beleaguered pregnant woman, along with Laura Harring who plays the evil woman that is after her unborn child. You will find some images images from the INSIDE remake just below.
The INSIDE remake also stars Stany Coppet, Ben Temple, and Andrea Tivadar.
We will continue to bring you more on the INSIDE remake as we hear it.
