Blumhouse’s PARANORMAL ACTIVITY took the world by storm 10 years ago with it’s original installment. Sparking a worldwide hit that most fans of Horror wanted to hit the theater for each of the five other films that followed.
The upcoming HAPPY DEATH DAY from Blumhouse looks to be another hit in the making. During a recent interview with Jason Blum and HAPPY DEATH DAY director Christopher Landon, Blum brought up PARANORMAL ACTIVITY stating that:
“Paranormal Activity is on hiatus but if Chris [Landon], who has done four Paranormal Activity movies, has an idea to reboot it, we're very open to hearing it.”
Could this be the spark of something that could be, or simply just being silly during an interview? See for yourself in the video below at around the 2:10 mark. Landon’s expression to rebooting the franchise is worth checking out.
Don’t forget that HAPPY DEATH DAY hits theaters Friday October 13th.
