When George A. Romero's DAY OF THE DEAD 1985 film DAY OF THE DEAD hit the scene, fans were treated to some gore like never before, and today the film is considered a Classic. A remake was made back in 2008 by Steve Miner to a lackluster response.
Fast forward to the present day and the film is once again getting the remake treatment, this time titled DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE. Nu Image/Millennium and Campbell Grobman Films and director Hector Hernandez Vicens bring you this one.
Here is a still image from the film that showcases one of it’s zombies.
Here is the description for the new DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE:
"A reimagining of George A. Romero’s cult classic, DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE is set in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled world where a former med school student is tormented by a dark figure from her past. The only thing is, he’s a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her world."
Saban Films brings DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE to VOD January 5th.
