Hmmmm, well I love Shawshank Redemption it is one of my favorite movies of all time. As far as horror goes I actually really love the movie Thinner. The old gypsy still creeps me out every time I watch that film....

Wow. This is tough. Although I've Christine countless time (big Carpenter fan) I'd have to say it's a toss up between Shawshank and The Shining. Two fantastic movies, and very different. Love 'em both!

I'm going to agree with Justin on this one and say Thinner. Pet Sematary and the original Salems Lot would be tied for a very close second. IT was my favourite book but I didn't think it translated well into the mini-series.

It was a toss up between Thinner and Pet Sematary. Glad to see you liked Thinner as much as I did Yukon! That movie as well as the book surprised the hell out of me when I first witnessed them. Just didn't expect a lot from either but they delivered.

Did anyone mention, Stand By Me?? Although it wasn't really horror, it still was good drama, I thought. Both that and The Shawshank Redemption were good non horror SK based movies.
