Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.
Most everyone has heard of or has seen the 1996 movie FEAR. It stars Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon, and wasn’t that popular upon it’s release but later developed a following throughout the decades.
The film saw Wahlberg’s character and Witherspoon’s character falling for one another with Wahlberg’s character taking things too far when she doesn’t quite go along with his intense love.
Deadline is now reporting that Universal has hired Jonathon Herman to pen the script which will be a re-imagined take on their FEAR remake. Original producer Brian Grazer is slated to return to produce for Imagine Entertainment.
The report from Deadline dropped some information worth noting stating:
“The new take on the pic is being kept under wraps, but we are hearing the thriller will be told from a female perspective.”
We will keep you updated on the FEAR remake as we hear it.
