Fulci's Zombie
Dude, the DVD just arrive here and I went to home to watch it:
It's just amazing, marvelous, wonderful, and any other thing you would call it. Bedes to be italian, all movie has a great story, that have been copied till the hell, and some scenes that today it's hard to see on horror movies.
The scene when Susan is under water and meets the zombie, who fight with (guess what?) A SHARK! HHAHAHAHAHA And it's a damn real shark, and why not to say the big ones??? This freak zombie lost his left arm, eaten by the shark, and still gave him some BITES! OH DEAR LORD! HE bite a SHARK!!
Many other scenes are impreve, like in dr. Menard house, where his wife is killed by a zombie that pierce her eyes. What a scene!
The movie has a great story, as I said, and good actors too (specially the walking zombies). They just made some mistakes, but nothing that blur the film.
The make-up effects of the deaths and zombies are pretty good for a 70s film. Much blood, maggotts and more ck things are shown in this great film. Recommended for zombie fans!

As for Guinea Pig...Most people in Japan who have seen it regret watching it. For a fictional snuff movie it is too extreme for my tastes...(I don't like snuff movies period) It was banned and taken off the shelves of shops after a man was arrested for kidnapping and murdering a few preschool children. The police found inde the killers house 8mm tapes which contained scenes of the victims being molested by the killer and also the complete set of Guinea Pig videos.

Im not into GUINEA PIG films either...the same with films like AUGUST UNDERGROUND and SLAUGHTER VOMIT GIRLS or whatever its called. But yeah the Guinea Pig films really
made me uncomfortable.
