Update On THE GRUDGE Reboot Within!

As most of you know, THE GRUDGE is a popular Horror film that is also a remake of the Japanese film, JU-ON: THE GRUDGE. There have been plans to reboot THE GRUDGE for a while, and we learned not long ago that the project was indeed moving forward.

Sony has chosen Nicolas Pesce to write and direct THE GRUDGE reboot. JEFF Buhler previously penned the script a few years ago, but Buhler will be adding his own twist to it.

THE reboot is titled simply GRUDGE, and is now set to hit theaters on June 21st 2019.

A Ghost House Pictures film, GRUDGE is produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, with Nathan Kahane, Erin Westerman, Schuyler Weiss, Roy Lee, Doug Davison, John Middleton, and Andrew Pfeffer.

GRUDGE stars Andrea Riseborough, Demian Bichir, John Cho, Lin Shaye, Betty Gilpin, Jacki Weaver, William Sadler, and Frankie Faison,

Original synopsis:

“A mysterious and vengeful spirit marks and pursues anybody who dares enter the house in which it resides.”

Remember, GRUDGE, will arrive into theaters on June 21st 2019.
