Creature From the Black Lagoon Remake News

This remake's been rumored for years but it looks like there's finally some substance as Gary Ross, whose father wrote the original, confirmed he's writing and also plans to produce the remake:

STOP REMAKES You expect studios to back something original?

Wow... you really are stuck in the past.

I'd go see this but wouldn't expect anything (maybe then it would be good and blow me away)

I actually wouldnt mind a remake. Loved the original. I think it was the most entertaining out of the Dracula/Frankenstein/mummy/wolfman lot....not the one i liked BEST but had the better pace out of the lot.

You're right Bisco. What the hell is wrong with Hollywood? What makes me angry is the fact everybody knows why they did it: for the money! They smash the clascs and mess all the story of the great films, like Halloween... SOme originality isn't bad, you know...
