Update On Sequel To HALLOWEEN 2018!

The Horror world has been waiting patiently on news of a possible sequel to HALLOWEEN 2018. Today we finally have that news.

We have learned that Jamie Lee Curtis is expected to return as Laurie Strode in the new film, with David Gordon Green also expected to return to direct a screenplay that he wrote. Judy Greer, who plays Laurie's daughter, Karen, and Andi Matichak who plays Laurie's granddaughter, Allyson, are both slated to return although the have yet to officially sign on.

Filming on the HALLOWEEN sequel could begin after Labor Day this year, with a potential release date of October 16th, 2020.

Malek Akkad, Bill Block, and Jason Blum will return to produce the sequel, with Danny McBride, John Carpenter, Green, Curtis, and Couper Samuelson all expected to return as executive producers.

HALLOWEEN (2018) brought in more than $159 million domestically on a $10 million production budget, so it's no surprise that a sequel is in the works.
