Last season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY saw an apocalyptic take on things and the upcoming ninth season titled AHS: 1984 will be having a slasher vibe to it.

We have learned that AHS: 1984 will air on Wednesday, September 18th on FX.

As of now there are no plot details to speak of, but EW reports that Emma Roberts and Olympic freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy will both be appearing. Evan Peters is said to be sitting this season out.
