Trailer For VH1's SCREAM: RESURRECTION Is Within!

Fans that enjoyed watching the Lakewood Six should be truly excited as the SCREAM TV series will soon be shelling out it's third season, sort of. Forgetting about the previous two seasons, Season 3 which features the return of Ghost Face will air on VH1 in a three night event will be titled SCREAM: RESURRECTION. In place of the last two seasons' Brandon James mask, the new season of the SCREAM TV series will bring back the original Ghost Face mask.

The new season centers on Deion Elliot (RJ Cyler), a local star football running back, whose tragic past comes back to haunt him and threaten his hard-earned plans for the future—and the lives of his unlikely group of friends.

The cast includes Mary J. Blige, Keke Palmer, RJ Cyler, Jessica Sula, Giorgia Whigham, Giullian Yao Gioiello, Tyga, C.J. Wallace, and Paris Jackson.

The new season is executive produced by Queen Latifah, Shakim Compere, Yaneley Arty, Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley, Marianne Maddalena and Cathy Konrad, with the late, legendary Wes Craven also listed as an executive producer. Brett Matthews (The Vampire Diaries, Legacies, Supernatural) is the showrunner for the third season.



All six episodes of SCREAM: RESURRECTION will air on VH1 over the course of three nights, from Monday, July 8th–Wednesday, July 10th, beginning at 9:00pm and airing for two hours each evening.
