The SCREAM Franchise To Be Resurrected - Info Within!

The franchise that breathed life into the Horror of the 90's is in line to be brought back to the big screen.

Gary Barber’s Spyglass Media has acquired the rights to the SCREAM franchise through a very difficult legal road initially cut by the the allegations that plagued Harvey Weinstein. Spyglass Media was re-launched by Barber, Andy Mitchell, Milos Brajovic, and investors Cineworld Group and Eagle Pictures. Mitchell and Brajovic helm Lantern Entertainment, the company that acquired the rights to Dimension Films’ catalog when it fell into bankruptcy.

As it turns out, not only will SCREAM be set for relaunch, but David S. Goyer is writing another entry into the HELLRAISER series.

It is unknown as to if the new SCREAM will follow Wes Craven's storyline or be based on something else altogether.
