With a lot of things being put on hold for a while due to the COVID-19 situation, it looks like AMC has decided to wait on premiering THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND.

Originally slated to premiere on Sunday, April 12th, the THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND series will now premiere "later this year," with an exact date yet to be announced.

Deadline reports that while filming was completed on the first season, the series "...was in post-production on the last few episodes, which has been impacted by the COVID-1[9]-related company closures."

The coronavirus has also delayed pre-production on TWD Season 11 and stopped production on FEAR THE WALKING DEAD Season 6.

A "two-season limited event" that marks the third TV series in The Walking Dead universe, THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND follows the first generation to grow up on a planet now dominated by the living dead.

We will continue to follow all things THE WALKING DEAD.
