Great video Bisco!

It's nice to see their input on the film I love so much, and that it pretty much matches my own.

Halloween is so great because it was so meticulously crafted, the muc, the actors... it wasn't thrown together or meant to be a gore fest... it was just meant to terrify the audience, and it worked perfectly.

I still stand by the statement I tell everyone who ever thinks of writing a horror story or making a film, Halloween is the standard bearer of horror cinema... if you can learn a bit from its formula and how Carpenter brought his film to life... You have a winning formula in which to build your horror film around.

I just think that if anyone is going to make a suspenseful movie, its best to learn from Halloween, Jaws, and Alien.

Those three films really showcase the RIGHT way to build suspense in a movie.

I'd love to know what other horror movies they were referring to as bad?
