OK Guys, here goes.I about crapped my pants when I saw these pics myself lol, but here is my X costume, about 98 percent done.All I am misng is the chain for my neck shackle, and the wrist shackles, and those little metal rings for the neck shackle, but I could not wait to show this off, so here is the debut.hope ya like it.I have quite a few good pics so it may be a couple threads ,

You need to dye them (that much is almost certain).

Also need to get the two patches (one for the chest and the other for the shoulder).

There is a tear right below the left knee.

Here is a pic of a pair that a guy over on MM.NET makes (his are pretty accurate) however the chest patch is not on this pic.

Hi, I post a lot on Nightowl. Here is some of my costume pics and my New Blood costume/display. I made most of it myself, and repainted the "hood" I made which is a Rubie's mask I cut into a hood. Hock is by Crash, Gore Chest, and Rubie's parts. more details in links. Here is the Vengeance on in, although my hood matches the the parts I made better. I also made the arms out of stock skeleton gloves and latex, not bad for my first time. This is about 6'5" and equal to about 250-260 pounds, bacally Kane/Jason in my house! :)

Well it is about 99% done, and I love the final result! Again it was very tough taking pics as I had to fight the timer and some of the costume bunched up some and got out of place. But pics should give you a good idea at least. Florescent lighting drowns out a lot of the details, especially on the Hockey Mask. I am still working on the dart, and will be painting it chrome soon. I just glued a plastic ninja dart to a sponge brush/dowel handle. I may also add some bones showing through on the thigh and shin, and use my part 7 weathered gloves on top of zombie hands painted the same color as the mask. For now I have the standard leather weathered gloves, I used black and brown, sand paper, and I used red on top of it for blood on the bottom and top.

Also added some "wet looking" blood to the gun wounds so they show up better than just clear, and used mod podge for that. All are screen accurate and align on the back as well. Overall it looks fantastic in person! I can't wait to see the life-zed when I am done. Now if only Halloween was once a week.

:biggrin: I love the spine look in the back of the mask as well, and I am not used to not seeing and feeling a cut. So now I can roll the back collar down and not worry! I may add some cobwebs later on as well, and maybe some maggots on the shoulders. Also I did not wear my boots for this costume either as they are still on my mannequin. Part 8 coming soon.

Thanks man, yet I did it all alone and on a very limited budget. The details are even far better than you can see in the pics, so I can't wait to get some with better lighting and a better camera hopefully. This is only the second comprehenve costume I did. My first real part 7 looks like this

That was a pretty good costume as well, and scored me all first places in contests. So this second costume is a HUGE step up and I worked very hard for several months to make it as accurate as posble, yet also wearable and long-lasting, which is no easy task.

For display only I could weather it up even more so, and one day may make another shirt for display. But this is pretty darn good and the best of both worlds lol. I have been making Jason and Myers costumes for about 25 years, but nothing this detailed and comprehenve. Mostly the part 3 and 4 looks as all I needed were a green shirt and grayish pants. I degned it all myself very articulately based loosely on movie screens and the Cinema of Fear figure. I researched for about a year on what hock to buy and who would make it, and I am glad I did. It is done by Crash with a screen accurate mold from the movie, and I love the smaller look as it makes the undermask really come through well and look almost embedded into the hock. But yeah even I cannot believe I created this HUGE monster.

Here is the figure I based it off of loosely, and the shirt cuts etc.

I saw the pics on the forum you mencioned, it's the same costume, right? Anyway, it's very, very good, dude! Take my congratulations 'cos you're a great artist, and you're in the right place here in horrorbid.com, everybody will like your work.

p.s.: The costume it's freakin' real! If I'd seen you on the streets at night with that, I'll run 100m in 5,5 seconds, u know?

Thanks a lot, I am glad you like it. Yeah it is the same, if you seen it in person you would indeed crap yourself. Imagine trying to sleep with this huge thing in your house, and looking right at you in your bed. Every time I wake up in the morning I forget I have it, and sometimes it really startles me. But I love it, great Halloween feel. It is my costume primarily, and display secondary.

Unfortunately or fortunately, however you look at it, it is my "costume" and I need to take it off soon. If only I did not live in a one room efficiency apartment with very little room. Someday when I get a house I will have a room full of displays, and those cool backdrops with crystal lake, and boiler rooms etc. I also ordered 2 inch shoe lifts and a muscle under-suit to add even more mass to my costume, as if it isn't scary and hot enough already. The shirt was not made to fit something this masve, so it is shrinking up and out place some and the cuts are slightly off, but it still works well somehow. I may weather up another bigger shirt just for it someday. But that was a real pain to get it that frayed and all the holes lined up, but well worth it!

Next up will be part 6, part, 8, and Myers Display. I may use my Don Post for awhile until I get a Killing Machine. Thanks for all the compliments, I am an artist in many ways actually, and I am glad I was able to shine through on this hobby as well. A limited budget actually made me more artistic, and it turned out even better than anything I could have bought.

A little about the mask and the costume: nce the legend I created for myself pegs me as "The Boy Returned", I thought I'd wear boyish clothes (e.g.: long johns and overalls and no shoes). As for the mask, nce I never fully "developed", I took my inspiration from unborn fetal faces...(Hope I didn't spoil your appetite).

Not too many BTM (That's MY BTM) viewers know that, I don't think.

Anyway, again, great job on the threads.

Thanks! Yeah I can't believe I created it myself and hope to get better pics outdoors sometime. I also should be getting an 8x10 of that photo, hopefully on disk too. A lot of time and research went into the costume, and can't wait to get my others done I am working on. part 7 was the hardest to make and wear, but looks the best and more gruesome of them all.

The Origin My tribute to Psycho

This was last halloween. We had a blast. I was hung over the next morning at the 30 years of terror and almost dies 4 times setting up the booth.

Just got the 8x10 today and it looks awesome! Pics still don't do it justice, but it is a little better than the newspaper pic. I took a bunch to try and get it as clear as posble. I wish they would have taken pics from all angles, I would have loved to see my back and the other de with the mask damage. The sun really brought out the details great. Maybe I will take one of the pic outdoors later.

all of the myers' costumes are great guys, but does anyone have any costumes that aren't of Michael? Am I gonna have to pull out my stuff and dress up?

I just ordered my first GOOD Freddy mask off ebay for about $130 from a guy named harvestmooncollectibles. He seems to make these alot, and peoples' feedback seems great. So I hope it's a good mask!

It's good. The paint is a little chippy, and it's really tight and unexpresve. I have a Freddy mask from Freddy vs. Jason I believe, and I cut the mouth out and it actually looks great.
