Friday The 13th (2009) - Jason's Machete Replica.

Jason's Machete is cast directly from a film used prop. This metal and wood reproduction of Jason's iconic weapon is 3 feet in length and has the real weight and feel of an actual machete. The blade edge is dull and this item is not a toy, it is a prop replica for display use only.



I know a machete is a machete but I'm liking the look of this one in particular.

Looks like it's about 30 years old and not made in by a prop department for a movie (other than the strap).

it looks great and not a bad price condering what other custom machetes go for. The one thing that scares me is will it looks as good as the pics they use for the catalog. Often times not but NECA has a pretty good track record on quality.....

I was just thinking the same thing...lol I think the strap should of at least been a bit more worn looking...the knife is bloody as hell like he's been chopping up people all night long and the strap looks new. It doesn't look right to me...the machete itself is fuckin awesome though.

Before I had a baby I had a really bad knife fetish....lol

Worst case scenario I guess you could take that off if you wanted but that kind of defeats the purpose. A little black shoe polish and you could probably age it up enough to make it pass...
