Judd Apatow may do a Slasher Horror

Looks like Judd Apatow is tired of the same old successful comedies that have become his calling card. Instead word says he is going to expand his horizons into the world of Horror.

MovieWeb shares:What would an Apatow-produced slasher film from Rich and Hader be like? Says Bill: ‘It’s partially Straw Dogs meets Halloween meets Home Alone meets The Monster Squad.’ It’s hard to argue against that.‘I don’t know if it’s even going to get made,’ Hader told me. ‘Judd met with us and said “I want to do a horror movie with you. I want to see you in a slasher movie.”‘

Sounds good to me.

Apatow is comedy gold and Slasher Comedy might be what we all need after these continuous remakes and sequels.

Please...please...please...no more "horror comedies" or "tongue in cheek horrors". If he wants to deviate from the "serious" slasher then why not at least take a stab at a real DARK humour horror.

I agree we need something fucked up.....
