Jason mask?

I wasn't sure where to post this but...

I know that the Jason Vorhees hockey mask was actually based off of an actual hockey mask... I can't recall what hockey team buuuuuuut...

Does anyone have a photo or any info to help me find anything on it? I found a small article on wikipedia but that's about it.

I am not exactly sure of the brand that was used. (I am sure someone can post that info) But I always heard that they stretched the mask to make it wider to make it more pronounced on camera. Good question....

it was a detroit red wings goalie mask that was recasted larger to fit over the prostetics

I think could be like this one above. I remember seeing the bonus in F13th P3 someone saying that they took that mask from a real team, and that they never imaginated that mask should be later the trademark of Jason. Thanks for the question and for the answers!
