Harry Warden Display Bust (Important Update On Page 3)

I finally got all the pieces together for my Harry Warden bust except for the hose, which I'm in the process of ordering now.

This thing is very hard to get an nice looking picture of due to all of the blacks.

As you can see, everything tended to blend together despite my best efforts.

Thanks to all the people who helped out along the way, from where to order all the pieces, to tips on fitting the shirt.



Edit 2/21:

Finally got the hose in from overseas.

As many have said before, if you're going to use this for a costume and not a display, order two of these hoses; they are pretty short.

After the new modifications from the link on page 3 of this post.

This is a much more accurate look without the vent piece sticking way out on the de and the metal threaded adapters removed from the bottom.

I also removed the light cable from the battery.

It takes up less space on display, and I wasn't too keen on having that lead acid battery tting around my latex masks.

I picked up one of those masks as well! A Black Rusan PG7 Gas mask... BUT where in the hell did you find a Hard Hat and more than anything, THAT LIGHT???????????? That Light is DEAD ON!!! Nice Job Bro!!! --Ryan

I got the hard hat from a company called Hardhatgear.com.

Very good service with these guys, I had it shipped Priority Mail and had it in three days.

As far as the light goes, you can find them regularly on ebay.

He has a friend who is offering them, but he mentioned that he had very few left.

I was lucky, my dad is a retired coal miner and gave me this light, it was just tting in his garage collecting dust.

Yeah, cutting the majority of the bottom out of the mannequin was definitely the way to go.

I love how these Harry Warden setups look almost like a retro verseion of one of the Kroenen from Hellboy (at least to me).

There is definitely a milarity to Kroenen.

I've seen several gas masks that resemble his, but I've never seen one exactly like it.

Definitely looks like a custom made piece for the movie.

I'd love to see a bust made of him, if there hasn't been one already.

I've spent so much time looking at gas masks over the past few weeks that I'm really starting to dig the look.

They're so inherently creepy, even though they were never intended to be.

I could see having a room full of these one day.

He also sells the hoses, but they're not listed in the auctions, so you have to ask for them when you order.
