To bad it's not hitting in October. Say Halloween weekend.

It was due for April (the week before my b-day...the timing would have been perfect) but a few months ago they announced it was being bumped back to November.

Of all the clascs WOLFMAN and CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON are the best IMO. I loved Lugo but DRACULA as a film is a bit over-rated. FRANKENSTEIN kicks ass but the Wolfman and the Creature are better films.

The Wolf Man is a great movie, dude. You NEED to see it!

I actually want to see this movie.

Just read an interview with Baker and he said the transformation will be CGIDid he specify the whole transformation would be CGI or just that he would use it? The reason I'm asking is he did an interview in 2007 about AWIL and he indicated he would love to do another film with a werewolf transformation. His exact words about how he would do another werewolf transformation were:

"I would definitely take advantage of computer technology as well. I think a real marriage of techniques would allow you to do a transformation that would just blow people away."

It's entirely posble the decion may have been made to do an entirely CGI transformation but it sounds to me that if he had his way, Baker would do a mechanical transformation with some CG highlights.

I know Baker is a huge fan of the original and has a lot of respect for it. I doubt he's going to do a cartoony CG transformation a la Van Helng (as long as he has any say in the matter). I trust Baker and look forward to seeing what he does.

What about the other black-white movies like Bela Lugo as Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of frankenstein, Cat people, Diabolique, I walked with a zombie, The old dark hause, The uninvited, Phantom of the opera (1925), The cabinet of doctor caligari, Nosferatu, Eyes withou a face, Freaks.... come on guys!!!!
