Yahoo's 13 Most Iconic Villains In Horror History

I got a kick out of this: ?y=660&x=616&q=75&n=0&g=H4xoYAGH5i0pak1f5wLFpQ--

Nothing against Roy, but come on Yahoo, try to remember that there are actual fans looking at this.

They couldn't have picked a better picture then that...

They couldn't have picked a better picture then that...Really, of all the pictures floating around they had to use one of Roy.

This one's not much better, although I have to give them credit, at least this is a picture of the actual character.

Yeah the list itself is pretty good but for real...Roy?

And though I actually have an odd fascination with the H5 mask (I kinda dig it's nister look), you would think they would have gone with a clasc from H1 or H2.

Odd photo choices.

I can't believe that they put Hannibal at the top of the list.

I mean, that was a good set of films.. but hardly more iconic than Myers, Freddy or Jason.

It should have been Myers, Jason, then Freddy...and so on from there. The pics were strange choices as well... except for the one of Leatherface.

I said the same thing when i read it I think the only good pictures were the leatherface, freddy and the one from the shining. The rest were pretty terrible...lol

Agreed.

When I think of "iconic" horror movie villains, these are definitely the top three.

The one I had the biggest problem with was Jaws.

Don't get me wrong, the movie is definitely in my top five of all time, but I never really condered the shark as a villain in the sense that this list would imply.

that's what happens when tes who actually know nothing about horror try to do horror . . . it's just insulting LOL.

Yep, lence of the Lambs was the only Horror movie in history to win the best picture award (however, many argue against me claiming lence wasn't a horror movie but a thriller).

To make it clearer, let me post here the (stupid) list:

13. Damien Thorn, The Omen 12. Jigsaw, Saw 11. Regan MacNeil, The Exorcist 10. Chucky, Child's Play 9. Ghostface, Scream 8. Jack Torrance, The Shining 7. Jason Vorhees, Friday the 13th 6. Leatherface, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 5. Norman Bates, Psycho 4. Freddy Krueger, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3. Jaws, Jaws 2. Michael Myers, Halloween 1. Hannibal Lecter, The lence of the Lambs

Is needed to say that VILLAINS is implied characters like Myers, Freddy, Jason or even Chucky. But Regan, from Exorcist? Jaws??? This list could be called The 13 Most Iconic Killers ('cos they kill people); even like this, we can't say Regan is a killer, or villain or anything about it... Now, my TOP 10 KILLERS list should be something like this:

1. Jason 2. Freddy 3. Myers 4. Leatherface 5. Pinhead 6. Harry Warden 7. Dracula 8. Jigsaw 9. Vernon 10. Norman Bates
