Award Nomination for Blind Date of Coffin Joe - Rondo Awards

Hi kidz!

I'd like to take your atention for Rondo Award 2008. Now in its 7th year, the Rondo Hatton Clasc Horror Awards has achieved a great deal of national recognition and credibility.

It gets bigger and bigger every year. Winning the Rondo Award would be a feather in the cap of everyone involved in the production.

Last year, Rob Zombie's Halloween was one of several feature films nominated for best movie.

Mr. Zombie thought the award was important enough to launch a web campaign, urging his fans to fill out the Rondo ballot and vote for Halloween.

His film won.

Other film industry profesonals have been enthuastic about winning the Rondo.

Last year, I was a presenter at the awards ceremony.

I gave an award to Michael Schlenger, a film producer/distributor and executive with Sony Pictures.

He was extremely excited to get his Rondo.

So no, it's not an Oscar or Golden Palm or anything close.

But it's still pretty cool and it is something people do care about.

I would like everyone to go to http://www.rondoaward.com and conder voting for "The Blind Date of Coffin Joe" for best independent production. It is category #9 on the ballot.

There are lots of other great categories and deserving nominees, so please fill out as much of the ballot as posble.

And if you feel so inclined, pass this along to your friends!

As most of you know, the guy who made it is a friend of mine, Raymond Castille, and he's a huge fan from Coffin Joe (José Mojica Marins, horror movie producer form Bral). Raymond played the young Zé do Caixão in his last movie, Embodyment of Evil, and made this short film in tribute to Mojica. I'd like to ask for ya all to watch it

Another point is that are nominations for the best boards on internet for horror theme. Well, Horrorbid is not on the list, but you could vote on it writing it on the vote list.

It's ok. In fact, I copied and pasted the e-mail Ray sent me. Agree with you about RZ Halloween, but I made it to help a good friend, dispite the other things on the awards.

And I suggest everybody go see Embodyment of Evil, the last Coffin Joe movie. There's blood and gore, so....
