Im a MEGA fan of the KOLCHAK movies and tv series! anyone else????? For anyone who might not know "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" was televion series that aired on ABC in 1974. It was about a Chicago newspaper reporter — Carl Kolchak, (played by the awesome Darren McGavin) who investigates paranormal crimes and mysteries that the authorities won't accept or pursue. The series was preceded by two televion movies, The Night Stalker (1972) and The Night Strangler (1973).
The movies ROCK (I especially love the Night Stalker) and the tv shows were incredible.....Kolchak would go after Werewolves; zombies; aliens; vampires; and all sorts of crazy demons and monsters. If you love old school horror (50s and 60s) you'll love this well done; witty; funny and yes scary series!!!
